Can a dental anesthesia injection cause nerve damage? After receiving an injection in my gums I felt a sharp tingle going from the gum to my lower lip, and now sometimes I get a bit of itchiness and discomfort in my lower lip. What is it?

I had dental procedures 6 weeks ago. I went three times in three weeks. After the second time at the dentist , she worked on the right back tooth, two days later my right hand started to swell. It felt like carpal tunnel, it was so painful. Then I went the third time, she worked on the left side back tooth and two days after going to the dentist my left hand started to swell too. Same reaction as first time. Then five days later she needed to finish the right side and then the right hand started again to swell and I had excruriating pain in the night. It is now six week later and my right hand is still not 100%. In the meantime I had terrible inflammation in my right foot in the soft tissue. I want to mention that every time she injected me at least 8 times. I asked why she infected me so much and she said that it's because my body does not react fast enough on the injection. I've never experienced anything like this before. It feels like a chemical reaction, that is my opinion or I have a allergic reaction. Not sure what exactly to make of this.
